The Wheeling Police Department has various programs to involve citizens (youth and adults) in the prevention of crime. Through these community programs Police Officers and citizens get to know one another and form partnerships to work towards the improvement of the quality of life in our city. The main goal is to prevent crime before it happens. The following are some of the programs currently in place in Wheeling.
