What is Safety Town?
SAFETY TOWN is a hands-on learning adventure for 5 and 6 year-olds to practice life-saving safety rules. The 4-day curriculum includes a miniature town complete with mock houses, schools, a church, police station, fast-food restaurant, grocery store, street markings, traffic signs and railroad crossings, where children practice supervised, simulated traffic situations.
Daily activities include guest speaker presentations, video presentations, singing, crafts, classroom discussions and -- their favorite activity of all -- riding Big Wheels around town!
